Some projects begin with certainty. These did not.
If Not for the Blast and Atlas & Friends are both in development. Each has a different audience, purpose, production path, and cost. This is where you can follow their progress, understand what remains, and support the work you most want to see become real.
Project support helps fund Kenny Bass’s independent creative work. It is not a charitable contribution to The Battle Buddy Foundation and is not tax-deductible. Unless a specific benefit is listed, support does not purchase a product, guarantee publication, create an ownership interest, or promise a delivery date.
The mercifully short memoir

A pocket-sized literary memoir about poverty, war, traumatic brain injury, service dogs, fatherhood, failure, and the difficult practice of making something useful from pain.
Current needs
Professional editing, design, production testing, and a publication path that protects the integrity of the work.

A warm, educational story introducing children to service dogs, guide dogs, therapy dogs, working K-9s, emotional-support animals, and pets through empathy, respect, and clear distinctions.

Support received for each project will be tracked separately. That will help show where the strongest public interest exists, but it will not be the only factor in deciding what gets completed first.
