Privacy Notice
Effective and last updated: September 12, 2026
Who operates this site
KennyBass.com is Kenny Bass’s personal and professional website, operated by Altheon LLC. This notice describes how Altheon LLC handles information submitted through this website and through direct email to the addresses displayed here. The site is informational and inquiry-based: it presents biography, speaking, media, books and projects, photography, project status, and inquiry forms.
What the inquiry forms collect
The Contact and Speaking forms ask for the information needed to understand and answer an inquiry: your name, the organization you represent if any, contact details, message, and relevant professional or event context you choose to provide. The Purchase Request form asks only for your name, email, shipping country, ZIP or postal code, quantity, and an optional note. The selected product, variant, price, and entitlement status are recorded with that request.
Please do not submit medical records, disability documentation, military records, government identifiers, financial or card details, credentials, or private information about children or event attendees.
Project and site update list
This site offers an optional update list. If you choose to join it, the only information collected is the email address you enter, which project or topic you asked about, the page you signed up from, and the date of your affirmative opt-in. Joining requires ticking a consent box; no address is ever added from an inquiry form, a purchase, or any other action.
These records are held in the same private database operated for Altheon LLC by Supabase, are never public, are not sold, rented, traded, or shared for anyone else’s marketing, and are not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking. No behavioral analytics, advertising pixel, or third-party marketing platform receives them.
At present the website is capturing consent records only. No bulk-email, newsletter, or marketing-automation provider is connected to this list, and the website is not currently performing bulk update sends. If sending is enabled later, addresses may be used only for the site and project update topics the person actually requested, and an appropriate unsubscribe mechanism must be in place before any bulk sending begins.
To be removed from the update list, or to ask what address is recorded, write to contact@kennybass.com and the record will be marked unsubscribed or deleted. Removal from the update list does not affect any separate inquiry correspondence.
How the information is used
Submitted information is used to evaluate and respond to your inquiry, assess speaking availability and fit, evaluate purchase requests, estimate shipping and applicable tax, carry on professional correspondence, protect the site against abuse and misuse, and keep ordinary business records of correspondence and fulfillment.
How submissions are stored and delivered
When you submit the Contact, Speaking, or Purchase Request form, the validated information is first recorded in a private database operated for Altheon LLC by Supabase. It is then transmitted through Resend, Altheon LLC’s email delivery provider, to the monitored contact@kennybass.com shared inbox. Your email address is set as the reply address so Kenny can respond. Email sent directly to an address on this site is processed through Altheon LLC’s ordinary email service.
The record is stored before the email is attempted so that inquiries can be tracked and so that a delivery failure can be identified and reconciled rather than silently lost. Each record holds the applicable contact, event, message, product, and fulfillment details, the inquiry or request type, timestamps, and delivery status information. It may also hold the email provider’s message identifier and, when delivery fails, a short technical error code.
These records are not public. They are accessible only through protected server-side systems to authorized Altheon LLC operators. No card or bank details, no raw IP address, no value from the form’s hidden anti-spam field, and no browser-local game data are stored with an inquiry. Your submission is not stored in your browser.
Retention
Each stored inquiry record receives a retention-review date twenty-four months after submission. A record may be retained beyond that review only as reasonably needed for active correspondence, a resulting engagement, legal and accounting obligations, security, or prevention and resolution of disputes. Altheon LLC does not promise deletion on a fixed timetable, and deletion requests remain subject to those needs.
No sale and no targeted advertising
Personal information submitted through this site is not sold and is not used for targeted advertising.
Service providers
Altheon LLC uses a limited set of service providers to operate this site: website hosting and infrastructure, Resend for email delivery, and Supabase for inquiry storage and site database services. These providers process information only as needed to provide those services.
Technical and anti-abuse processing
Ordinary hosting logs may process technical data such as IP address and device, browser, and request information in order to deliver and secure the site. Form protection uses a hidden honeypot field, a minimum completion time, and short-term rate limiting. For rate limiting, a short-lived one-way pseudonymous hash is derived from network information and stored briefly; the raw network address itself is not stored with it, and the hash is used only to prevent abuse, never for advertising or user profiling. No behavioral analytics, advertising pixels, marketing automation, accounts, or advertising tracking is enabled on this site.
Optional game leaderboard
This site includes a small optional game. If you choose to submit a result to its public leaderboard, the site stores only a randomly generated callsign, the play mode, the score, basic run-validation values (number of moves, elapsed play time, and a one-time run identifier), and the time of submission. No name, email address, account, or contact information is collected or stored with a leaderboard entry, and submission is never automatic.
Your browser may also store a small local arcade record: a randomly generated callsign, an optional Arcade Name you choose yourself, personal best scores, a short history of your completed runs, which games you have played, and any achievements earned. This local information stays in your own browser. It is not an account, it does not sync between devices, and it does not leave your browser unless you explicitly choose to submit an eligible score to the public leaderboard. Clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
An Arcade Name is optional and is stored only in your browser. If you set one, it becomes the public name shown with any score you deliberately submit, in place of your generated callsign. Arcade Names are not unique, not reserved, and not tied to any account, and names that contain contact details, abusive language, or claim to represent Kenny Bass, the foundation, or site staff are rejected. Please do not use your real name or any other personal information as an Arcade Name.
Zork I text adventure
The arcade includes a self-hosted browser presentation of the classic text adventure Zork I. Your commands, the transcript, the rooms you visit, the choices you make, and the contents of your saves are not collected by this site and are not sent to analytics or to any third party.
The first time you submit a command, the game window sends a single local, same-origin signal to the page. That signal contains no command text and no game information. Its only effect is to mark the title as played in the arcade record stored in your own browser. No recorded run, completion, score, leaderboard entry, or public submission is created.
Progress is not saved automatically. When you use the interpreter’s own save and restore commands, the save data is managed separately by the interpreter in your browser’s storage and, if you choose, in a save file you download. Save data does not sync between devices and may be lost if site or browser storage is cleared. Downloaded save files remain entirely under your control.
No payment information
KennyBass.com can accept a non-binding purchase or pre-order request, but it does not collect payment. Do not enter card numbers, bank information, PayPal or Venmo credentials, or other payment credentials in any form.
External links
This site links to third-party websites, including media outlets, documentary hosts, video platforms, and The Battle Buddy Foundation. Those sites have their own privacy practices, and Altheon LLC does not control them.
Children
This site is not directed to children and is not intended to collect personal information from them. Please do not submit private information about minors through the inquiry forms.
Security
Altheon LLC uses reasonable measures to protect information submitted through this site, including limiting who can access the shared inbox. No website or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and no absolute security is claimed.
Questions, corrections, and deletion requests
To ask about, correct, or request deletion of information you submitted through an inquiry, write to contact@kennybass.com. Requests are honored subject to legitimate recordkeeping, operational, and legal requirements.
Separate from The Battle Buddy Foundation
Altheon LLC and The Battle Buddy Foundation are legally, financially, and operationally separate. This site may link to TBBF, but it never accepts or processes donations to TBBF. TBBF maintains its own website, systems, and privacy practices.
