The project
One camera. Fifteen photographs. A sequence made more than two decades later.
Kenny Bass carried a disposable camera as a young Marine infantryman in Iraq in 2003. The surviving photographs move through murals, work sites, resting Marines, weapons, industrial structures, damaged machinery and material before and after use. Their color, softness, flare and uneven exposure belong to that camera and the conditions in which it was used.
The project preserves a limited viewpoint rather than claiming a comprehensive history. Its sequence builds through proximity, repetition and the unsettled relationship between ordinary pauses and systems of force.

- Complete 15-work collection pricing is the sum of one Spent and the fourteen other works at current individual prices. It is not discounted.
- Books remain optional, separately scoped, and are not bundled by default.
- Conservation framing is available to institutional specification and quoted separately before fabrication.
- Artwork prices do not include framing, specialized mounting, packing, freight, insurance, installation, or other site-specific presentation costs unless expressly included in a written proposal.
- Prices exclude applicable sales or use tax. Tax will be collected where required by law. Tax-exempt institutional purchasers must provide applicable exemption documentation.
- Edition availability, packing, and final production specifications are confirmed in writing before fabrication or sale.
- Acquisition transfers ownership of the physical print or prints only unless separately agreed. Copyright, negatives, digital masters, reproduction, publication, and promotional rights, exclusivity, and edition buyout are not included unless granted separately in writing.
